STRUCTURED SETTLEMENT: $14,000,000                         VEHICLE ROLLOVER

Structured settlement with lump sum and total lifetime payout of $14,000,000 for a married
couple who sustained neck and back injuries requiring numerous surgeries and resultant
disability from their work.  The Chevrolet SUV that they were passengers in rolled over 7
times in a highway accident when the defendant driver lost control of the vehicle. By
aggressively litigating the case and by hiring the most experienced vocational rehabilitation
experts and forensic economists, we were able to force the defendants to settle the case just
prior to trial.


TRIAL VERDICT:  $7,800,000                                AUTOMOBILE ACCIDENT          

LOHAR V. CITY OF NEW YORK                       SUPREME COURT, KINGS COUNTY

$7.8M Verdict for lost wages, medical expenses, pain and suffering for 35 year-old Brooklyn
woman who was a passenger in a car that was struck in the rear by a van owned by the City
of New York.  The woman suffered the loss of her spleen, severe abdominal scarring and
serious injuries to her neck and back which prevented her from working in her career as a
nurse's aide.


TRIAL VERDICT:  $5,500,000                                  POLICE MISCONDUCT

ROSARIO v. UNION CITY POLICE DEPARTMENT   US DISTRICT COURT, NEW JERSEY

$5.5M Verdict for false arrest, conscious pain and suffering and wrongful death for the
family of a 63 year-old  Union City, New Jersey man who died in police custody.  The jury
found that the police officers had no probable cause to arrest the man in his own home, and
that the police officers were negligent in failing to provide adequate medical attention when
he suffered a severe asthma attack while in police custody.  Sadly, the man died in the
street outside his home.


STRUCTURED SETTLEMENT:   $8,600,000         PRODUCTS LIABILITY

Structured settlement paying out over $8.6M to family of a utility worker who died from
severe burns suffered during an electrical explosion at a worksite.  We were able to obtain
the settlement for the man's widow and young children after showing that the explosion
resulted from a defective switch at the worksite.


STRUCTURED SETTLEMENT:       $2,900,000        AUTOMOBILE ACCIDENT

Structured settlement with total payments of $2.9M for a Brooklyn woman whose car was
struck by another motorist who disregarded a traffic signal.  Although she did not initially
report to the hospital, she soon developed severe back pain.  An MRI revealed herniated
disks in her back which required surgery.  She was unable to continue her career as a
special education teacher.  We won summary judgement on liability by making a motion to
the Court and were able to obtain a strong settlement by being fully prepared to go to trial
on the issue of damages.


SETTLEMENT:        $2,500,000                                CONSTRUCTION ACCIDENT

Lump sum award of $2.5M for an employee working on the construction site of the Time
Warner Center at Columbus Circle in Manhattan.   Our client,  a 43 year-old Brooklyn
resident, fell 15 feet through an unsecured plywood floor and sustained fractured vertebrae
in his back which required remedial surgery.  The case was settled after we obtained
summary judgement in his favor pursuant to the New York State Labor Law Section 240
which protects workers from height-related risks at construction sites.

TRIAL VERDICT:   $1,400,000                            ACUPUNCTURE MALPRACTICE

Verdict at trial of $1.4M for a 53 year-old man who suffered 2nd and 3rd degree burns on his
back when his acupuncturist failed to secure a heat lamp and then left the patient
unattended in the treatment room.  Through the use of medical expert testimony, trial
attorney Jason Krantz proved to the jury that the three inch scar on the client's back was
permanent and causes the plaintiff pain when he moves his body and sits on a chair.  The
general counsel for the defendant's insurer advised us that this verdict is the highest
recorded verdict for an acupuncture malpractice case in the United States.
